eml were Architects and Team Leaders for the development of new Municipal Offices in Thurles for Tipperary County Council.
The project involved the refurbishment and upgrade of the existing Library HQ, (a Protected Structure), as well as the construction of new buildings. The Campus now provides a new Public Reception/Exhibition space, a District Council Chamber, Meeting Rooms, Offices, and Canteen, as well as a Book Depository and support offices for the Library Services.
The project was completed in December 2016.
“I wish to record my appreciation of eml in the extension and fit out of the former library to the new Municipal District Office at Castle Ave, Thurles. Your endless patience in accommodating the changing demands of the client is noted as well as your achievement in delivering the project on time. However, the most noticeable reaction to date has been the “Wow” reaction by staff and others, in relation to the colours, finishes and furniture selection”.
