Mixed Use Development
This design proposes a mixed-use scheme comprising 142 no. apartments, and a residents’ amenity space/workhub on a Z6 site that borders the Royal Canal Greenway. The development will also include extensive landscaping, particularly along the southern / canal boundary where a landscaped public open space with a café unit/bike repair store is proposed for users of the Greenway.
The development takes the form of two 8-9 storey blocks, with ground floors include a mix of support accommodation, commercial use and apartments, while first to seventh floors are exclusively apartments.
The landscape on the eastern portion of the site is semi-public with car parking and shared surface paving. External areas to the west and north of the blocks are communal amenity spaces for residents of the development.
